” We are delighted with the completed Monkey bars which you installed so promptly.

The Children are thoroughly enjoying the challenge and are particularly pleased that they were able to meet with you to discuss the finished product.

As in the past, you kept to the agreed delivery time which meant the school was not disrupted in any way and we look forward to working with you in the future.”

Jean O’Brien – Lathom Park C.E Primary School Headteacher

“Great job.  Workmen were efficient and considerate.  The children and parents really love the equipment,

K Coghlen – Assistant Headteacher, Richmond Primary School, Hinckley, Leicestershire

“We at St John’s would like to thank you for the excellent work undertaken by AMV Playground Solutions.

We are very happy with the playground development, the bamboo screening for our fence, and the speed with which the work was completed. Your workmen conducted themselves exceptionally well and left our premises clean and tidy.We look forward in employing your services again in the future.”

Sarah Lea – Headteacher, St John’s Ladywood CofE Primary School, Ladywood, West Midlands

“The Sacred Heart staff and children were and are still delighted with our Goal Post Units, they are thoroughly enjoyed by all every day. We have recently had the playground re-surfaced and this has given a finishing touch to the units. Once again thank you for your help and advice and we will be in touch.”

Janette Gee – PTA Chairperson, Sacred Heart RC Primary School, Carleton, Nottinghamshire

“We are very happy with the mini goal unit. The children thoroughly enjoy using all aspects of the unit; It has improved the different types of play – not just football but cricket, basketball etc. We are sure that throughout the year the skills in these other sports will improve by the informal playtime activities as well as the use of the mini goal unit in games lessons”.

Kathryn Fretwell – Headteacher, Brimington Manor Infant School, Chesterfield, Derbyshire

“Please pass on this school’s and my own personal thanks to the team that installed our traverse wall and sports goal unit.  They have created so much attention and enjoyment within our school, allowing the children so many more activity options at playtime and in outdoor sessions.

The traverse wall has been such a success with children organising themselves to take turns and no “queue jumping”.

Very well done, top team!

With my very best wishes”

Dave Howatson – Headteacher, Fairfield Primary School, Stapleford, Nottingham

“I would like to commend AMV on the works carried out in the KS2 yard at our Primary School. From first contact, I found all staff endeavoured to listen to our requirements and, whilst providing professional input when needed, the project was always about what we needed and how best to achieve this.

Having worked with other yard installation companies in the past that didn’t run smoothly and the inconvenience this can cause, I was incredibly impressed with the AMV installation team. The fact that they provided so many workmen, all of whom worked hard and were obviously well trained, meant that in only 1.5 days, they had fully completed the project.  The workers on site were pleasant with staff and pupils and clearly aware of safeguarding issues which are so important in the current climate.

In all, from start to finish, a first class team and product. We are delighted, the yard looks beautiful and our children are happier and fitter than ever before.

I cannot recommend AMV more highly – next for the KS1 yard!”

Alan Baker, Deputy Headteacher – St Margaret’s Primary School, Durham, County Durham

“At Summerfield we had been looking for years into ideas in order to enhance the quality of the playtime that the children experience. The school which was built in the 70′s suffered from a very large playground that was nothing but a vast expanse of uninspiring tarmac.  Obviously over the years we have done our best to stimulate the children during their morning and lunchtime breaks, but were desperate for something to give the playground a new lease of life as well as improve safety.  Luckily we stumbled across the idea of a MUGA, so set about finding out more and bringing in various suppliers to provide us with quotes.

We were very impressed from the off with the efficiency and professionalism shown by the staff at AMV and if that wasn’t enough, when the four quotes that we had asked for arrived we were even more impressed with the value for money from AMV.  To be frank AMV beat other providers by over 50% for the same very high quality steel work.

Since the installation of the MUGA we have already begun to reap the rewards of our investment.  The playground is a far safer place with football and hockey etc confined to the MUGA allowing other children to play quieter games without risk of collision with the footballers etc.  Although this is the most obvious benefit of a MUGA the added bonus has also been in reducing the number of acts of agression that take place between children at playtimes, as children knocking into each other whilst engrossed in a game of football has been eliminated.

I would highly recommend AMV to any school or other establishment thinking of investing in a MUGA.  In fact we have had numerous enquiries from neighbouring schools already in the two months that the MUGA has been in place.  The quality of service and level of professionalism at all times from the original quote to the completion of the work has been exemplary.”

Richard Ellis,  Deputy Headteacher – Summerfield Primary School, Winston Green, Birmingham

“I am writing to thank you again for the excellent work of completing the canopy extension at our school.  The project has made a real difference to our Foundation Stage and has allowed the children to complete tasks ‘outside’ without them being exposed to the harshness of the weather!

I was so pleased with the attention to detail and professionalism of your staff and the approachability of Martin in managing this development.  As you know, the building work should have been completed during the summer break and for reasons outside of our control, this work had to be put back to September.  This caused a headache for school as we would obviously prefer to have major works like this completed when the children are offsite for many reasons, not least in terms of safety.  With this in mind, the way that AMV worked with us to ensure that the project was completed on time within the constraints of a working day was fantastic.

Thanks again for a job well done, I look forward to working with you again in the future.”

Ian Hardman, headteacher – Grange Valley Primary School, Haydock, St Helens

“Merefield school is a SLD school aged 3-19 for pupils and students with severe/profound and multiple learning difficulties, ASD, with some pupils showing challenging behaviour.

Merefield school commissioned AMV Playground Solutions to supply and install bespoke goalposts with basketball attachment after a recommendation from Redbridge School in Liverpool.

AMV were in constant contact with us to make sure that our pupil’s needs were met with regard to size, colour and to also create a unit which met our budget requirements.  the service AMV delivered was excellent from the initial meeting to installation of the goal posts.

I would highly recommend AMV for all your playground needs, if there is something that you particulary want which is not in their brochure they will go out of their way to design it for you within your budgetary requirement.”

Karen Lynskey, Headteacher – Merefield School, Southport, Merseyside, PR8 2QZ

“The two sports stations we have recently had installed by AMV have added so much to our outdoor playground environment.  The parents love them and the children think they are great.  Comments such as ‘They’re absolutely brilliant’ and ‘They’re fantastic’ speak for themselves.

We can’t wait to expand our games areas with more equipment.”

Brian Johnson, Headteacher – St Philips Primary School, Southport, Merseyside

“From the very first phone call I knew our children would be happy with their new playground.

Everyone I spoke to at AMV knew exactly what the children wanted, what worked best, how my Health and Safety concerns would be addressed, and demonstrated a real pride in their products.

I appreciated talking to dedicated people whose aim was to deliver a quality service with a quality product.

It was a real bonus that AMV prices were so competitive too! Thank you so much.

Highly recommended!”

Kate Quick, Headteacher – New Ford Primary School, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire

“We’re delighted with the equipment installed by AMV, our pupils love it all but particularly the ‘monkey bars’! AMV were very professional from initial discusion, through the design process and on to installation.

Quality, service and after sales follow up are exemplary.”

Dennis Hoult, Headteacher – Lakeview Primary School, Nottingham

“On behalf of everyone at Lawrence Community School I would like to thank AMV Playgrounds for all the helpful advice and service provided throughout our recent playground development.

The quality of workmanship of your manufacturing and installation team and the robust nature of the equipment means our children are now enjoying a wonderful time throughout the school day and beyond.

The artificial grass is a great addition along with the shelter and trim trail.

Having previously used AMV to provide playground goals, which are as good today as they were when they were originally installed some years ago, we had no hesitation in asking your company to complete the latest project for us.

We would have no hesitation in recommending your company to other schools looking to improve their playgrounds.”

Joan Killey, School Business Manager – Lawrence Community Primary School, Liverpool, Merseyside

Over the course of some 15 years, the number of pupils on roll here has almost trippled, from 150 to 430.

Our playground area is tightly constrained. As a consequence, there has been a growing pressure on space. This has required us to consider alternative and innovative strategies. In order that the increasing numbers of pupils may play safely in a shared space (without having to have ‘split’ playtimes), we have been installing increasing numbers of three dimensional peices of equipment. We could not spread out, so we have ‘gone up’

I was attracted to AMV Playground Solutions because of their versatility and safety.

A Multi Purpose Brief

I contacted AMV and requested a bespoke piece of apparatus which might incorporate several of the options already available in their catalogue.

The construction had to be both strong and transparent, steel and polycarbonate
It also had to follow an angled path and be accessible from two sides, both the field and the path
It would also need to be sufficiently versatile, in order that we might add to it if and when additionalfunds became available
It had to be tough, attractive, sufficiently rigid to safely accomodate the traversing wall and also transparent for the purpose of supervision.
The apparatus would incorporate a netball shooting hoop on the hard standing side and target for cricket and a variety of throwing and football activities on the field side.
There would also be large magnetic pieces for giant draughts and snakes and ladders boards for gentler playtime activities.
I would be consulted throughout the whole process and a surveyor would view the location and contours to ensure manufacture of safe suitable equipment.

The Solution

The resulting piece is fit for task, brightly coloured, smoothly and safely finished.
The fitters were swift, careful, clean and considerate but above all, the price was right, not cheap but excellent value for money.
The installation is popular both with the children at playtime and staff during PE and games sessions.
The equipment is now 6 months old, has been used every day by 250 KS2 pupils and looks absolutely brand new.

I have no hesitation, therefore , in recommending AMV Playground Solutions to you, whether you are content with their catalogue items or need made to measure equipment, designed to solve a unique problem.”

Ray Woodward, Headteacher – Swanland Primary School, Swanland, East Yorkshire

“AMV equipment has ‘helped to create harmony in the school yard at break times as our pupils have an activity they enjoy and are happy to play together. Their ball skills and leadership skills have improved due to the organising and arranging of teams … lessons can be planned for using the equipment or the frame can be used for spontaneous lessons. Both staff and children alike are extremely pleased and wonder what they did without it!”

Mrs White, Headteacher – Esh Winning Primary School – County Durham

“I am writing to acknowledge your tremendous support in the realisation of a Multi Use Games Area in Llansteffan.  Your input to the original planning process, design, build and finish has been second to none, with each stage completed promptly and with a smile! Executing a project of this scale is no mean feat to a small village club such as ours, and much of the thanks is to AMV and all your staff for assistance and advice along the way.

We look forward to embarking on phase 2 of our project, which, I hope, will involve AMV once again.

So many thanks from the Llansteffan Sports Club Ltd, committee and all the local residents.”

Carys Jones, Company Secretary – Llansteffan Sports Club Ltd, Llansteffan

“We are delighted with the new outdoor bucket table. It provides countless learning experiences for our children as the contents can be changed to suit the particular topic focus. Highly recommended as part of any outdoor provision.”

Peter Stonier, Headteacher – Newstead Primary School, Newstead Village, Nottingham

“The children love the goal units and they have proved to be very successful.  It’s been difficult to actually timetable it because they all want to use them all the time!”

Simon Tonge, Headteacher – St Bernadettes RC Primary School, Manchester

“On behalf of Kinoulton Primary School, I would like to thank you for the superb goals your company installed on the 21st December at our school.

It has provided the children and local groups i.e.scouts, cubs etc with endless hours of fun.

We have been using them for football training on Mondays because our field has been waterlogged and it has worked really well.

I would have no reservations at all in recommending your company for quality and efficiency.”

Yours in sport

Paul Warden, Site Manager – Kinoulton Primary School, Kinoulton, Nottingham

“I have no hesitation in recommending AMV Products, I found the sales/design people very accomodating they came to school quickly, listened to our school needs and produced a number of cost effective quotes for a number of designs. The MUGA we had built is of an exceptional quality, very strong, colourful, multi-purpose and has thoroughly enhanced our outdoor play.

We wanted a MUGA to contain football matches at playtime to a specific area, we have easily achieved this making playtime more fun and less stressful for the non-football playing children. The basketball nets mounted on the outside have also promoted more structured sports and competitions all working towards a 5 hrs PE a week objective.

The project was completed within the contracted timescale with the minimum disruption to school, the team building the MUGA were approachable, friendly and really put themselves out to maintain a high level of health and safety regarding the children being on site whilst large plant machinery was also on site.”

Thank you AMV

Andy Gaunt, Deputy Headteacher – Greengates Primary School, Bradford, West Yorkshire

Just a short note to thank all concerned at AMV Engineering Ltd for the professional service that you provided for us at St Andrew’s. The advice and guidance given was greatly appreciated and now that the goal posts have been fitted, the children are using them during lessons and for extra-curricular activities.

I have had many comments from members of staff and visiting PE coaches regarding the quality of the equipment. All in all, we are completely satisfied and would be most happy to recommend AMV to potential customers.

Mrs S McEwan, Headteacher – St Andrew’s C.E. Primary School, Keighley, West Yorkshire

Thank you very much for fitting our recently installed multi-purpose goals, they have made an excellent addition to the front playground.

The goals have enriched the quality of out-of-lesson provision we offer students. They are extremely popular at both Key Stage 3 and 4 lunchtimes, and are constantly in use.

The quality of the design was excellent, and totally reflected the sales brochure. Also, the service your company provided was excellent, with all deadlines met and a friendly voice always on the end of the phone.

I will be recommending your company and its services to all local schools and academies.

Gregg Morrison, Assistant Principal & Director of Specialism – Harris Academy,  Merton

“I am pleased to recommend the products made by AMV Playgrounds.

Our school purchased four sets of mult-purpose goal units from AMV.  The whole process of designing the equipment meeting our specific needs, ordering and having the equipment installed was first rate.  The equipment was delivered promptly and installed by engineers efficiently in a thoroughly professional manner.

We requested that AMV Playgrounds co-operated with the school sports council, giving responsibility and ownership of the project to the students, which worked very effectively.

I cannot emphasise enough how pleased I have been with the quality of the equipment which has proved to be extremely hard wearing and looks as new today as it did when it was first installed.

I believe that the equipment supplied by AMV Playgrounds has made a real difference to break and lunchtimes at Glenburn Sports College.  The goal units are always well used, as they encourage such a variety of sports and activities.  It is a real pleasure to see so many students actively involved, gaining the benefits that can be derived from using such equipment.

Many colleagues across the school have commented that behaviour has not only dramatically improved during break and lunchtimes, but with some students there has been an increase in attentiveness and concentration levels in classes taking place immediately after break and lunchtimes.

I have no hesitation in endorsing the equipment provided by AMV Playgrounds.  AMV products can be used as a tool to address many whole school issues and the installation of such equipment can without a doubt have a positive impact on the well being of every student in your school.

I am happy to welcome any colleagues to Glenburn Sports College to look at the equipment and how it is being used.”

Mr R Flood, Headteacher – Glenburn Sports College, Skelmersdale, Lancashire

St Thomas’ C.E. School has been delighted with the quick and efficient manner that AMV have installed our playground goal units.

This strong equipment has so far proven to be anti-vandal proof – so much so that we are already negotiating with AMV about installing appropriate outdoor tables and seating.

Mrs S Pilling, Headteacher – St Thomas’ C.E. School, Halliwell, Bolton

“On behalf of the staff and children of Bligh Infant School, I would like to thank you for the quality and the service of the playground equipment we have purchased from you. The quality is excellent and the service provided by your installers was most impressive. They were courteous and willing to adapt their working pattern around the school timetable.

The play equipment has provided the children with a valuable outside resource for free play at break times and lunch hours and has also improved behaviour.

Thank you once again, we would be happy to recommend your Company to others.”

Eileen Denton, Headteacher – Bligh Infants School, Rochester, Kent

Just a quick note with reference to the work done at school yesterday.

Please pass on our thanks to Mark and his team  who worked ceaselessly through the foulest of weather imaginable. We had rain, sleet, semi-darkness, cold, floods etc. but they kept going and were most accommodating to our needs.

The work done seems to be of a very high quality and the finishes are pleasing. We are delighted with the whole project and look forward to using and enjoying the equipment. There is every chance that our PTFA will want to provide more of your equipment and I may be in touch again soon.

Please feel free to let other schools know what we have had done and to invite them up to see the equipment – we will be happy to endorse it.

Thanks again

Stewart Plowes, Headteacher – Edgeworth C.E. Primary School, Edgworth, Bolton

We return to AMV, over and again, because of their total commitment to a high quality personalised service which starts from initial contact and continues beyond completion. Where AMV did not have the particular item we were looking for their design department worked with us to produce what we wanted.

What I have found particularly valuable is the warm and friendly relationship which all members of their staff, at whatever level, work hard to develop.

The ball sports area contains the more active pupils and allows for quieter areas to be used for the purpose they were intended. All round, this results in less negative incidents and a reduction in possible flash points. Staff report playtimes as being less problematic across the school.

The facility also features heavily in the extended school provision. Our outdoor covered seating and open seating provides a range of uses, beyond playtime, and is particularly valued as outdoor teaching areas during suitable weather … this multiple usage adds significantly to the ‘value for money’ aspect of installing AMV products.

I would have no hesitation in recommending AMV … a company who will give you the minimum of hassle with the maximum of customer satisfaction.

Mr Mason, Headteacher – Matthew Arnold Primary School – Merseyside

The installation of markings and goal units through the Football Foundation grant has had a major beneficial effect on our school’s development.

Break times – behaviour has improved dramatically with the children occupied on the variety of games provided.  The football/basketball pitch is immensely popular and we have had to introduce a rota so all children can get to use it. We could do with another 2 of these, if we had the space! In our OFSTED in 2007, it was noted that a positive environment for play had been created.

PE Curriculum- This has also improved greatly as a result of these markings and the courts laid out. The recent audit we have undertaken shows that we deliver 2 hours quality PE & Sport each week, per child and that the range of activities had increased following this initiative.
After-school sports clubs use the playground markings and football court extensively and these involve many children including a girl’s and boy’s football teams and after-schools sports club

In conclusion, I would say that the money spent on these markings, games and football goals was money well spent.  Our school has no grassed areas and the playground is small but we are able to get children involved in sports, with our teams doing well in local leagues, much more than before.

I would recommend the multi-use goals as a ‘must-have’ item as they can be used to develop skills in so many different sports.  They are also extremely robust and should last for many years.

Keith Harrison, Headteacher – Porchester Junior School – Nottinghamshire

“To all at AMV.
Here’s a picture of one of the fantastic goals you made for us – we love them!  The children all play together now as a team and there’s hardly any bickering now.  Our playtimes are much-much better nowdays.

Thank you so much from Kayleigh and the rest of the children at Colegate.” Year 6 Pupil

The goal-ends you supplied us with were of the highest quality and we are very pleased with them.

We would suggest that other schools wishing to purchase similar equipment look no further than AMV.

Peter Winsper, Teacher – Colegate Primary School – County Durham

We would like to thank you all your hard work installing the equipment in our school playground. We are having great fun using it.

School Council, Cristina Luca, Georgia, Jack, Laurence, Ben, Jessica Simmonite, Cameron Atkinson – St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Bingley, West Yorkshire

I am confident that within the next few months, once we have trained our play leaders (children) I shall be able to submit a very favourable report to our Governors. We have enjoyed doing business with you and I would certainly recommend your firm to other colleagues – in fact I have done so already!

Mr M P L Ledsham, Headteacher – Rice Lane Junior School – Merseyside

The playground development scheme has had a significant impact within Carlton Central Junior School.  The playground has been transformed from a bleak, unattractive and boring environment into an exciting sport and play area with three distinct zones.  This facilitates several types of structured play activities

• Team games (football, basketball, cricket, rounders, community use etc.)

• Co-operative (taking turns, team building etc.)

• Individual (skipping, targets, balls skills etc.)

Having access to these improved facilities for lunchtime and playtimes, as well as for PE/Sports lessons, has minimised behavioural issues. This has been confirmed by positive feedback from pupils, parents, staff and governors.

Anne Hall, Headteacher – Carlton Primary School – Nottinghamshire

Can I take this opportunity to thank you for the efficient service we have received from yourselves. The workmen were here before I arrived and had set to work, they cleaned up after themselves and left the playground looking good.

I have no hesitation in recommending your professional company to others.

Thank you

Janice Simmonds, Finance Officer – Crimble Croft Community Centre, Heywood, Lancashire

Everyone at Launde would like to say a big thank you to you for our fantastic new playground equipment. The children are thoroughly enjoying usning all the goals and several members of staff are too!

Please could you pass on our thanks to everyone involved in the project as you have all been so helpful.

If you have any other schools who are considering similar equipment, please feel free to give them our contact details as we would be happy to recommend your company to others.

Thank you again,

Debbie Clarke, Teacher – Launde Primary School, Oadby, Leicester

I have enclosed some feedback from staff and the children.  We had a student voice conference recently where the children got to give their feedback and opinions on a wide range of topics and the playground came up a few times.

“I like the bright colours of the goals and the traverse wall is fun!” (Year 7 pupil)

“We can choose what sports we play depending on what we want to do each lunchtime” (Year 8 pupil)

“Having the goals and equipment means there is more room so we can play what we want to play” (Year 11 pupil)

“A number of staff noted the excellent positive effect the new playground equipment has had on the school”

“There are more children playing a wider range of sports and being active at lunchtimes, which is a great thing to see”

I am very happy with the equipment so thanks for your help and guidance in putting the equipment up in the playground.

Peter Slatford, PE Department – Cardinal Wiseman Secondary School – Coventry

I write to say how pleased we all are with the playground markings which were completed last Friday.

The work was completed in a very professional manner and to a very high standard (as normal for any AMV work).

In particular, Trevor was extremely polite, courteous and very accommodating especially as we resited several of the pieces from the original plan!  Consequently you can be sure that we feel he represented your company well.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this and any previous works you have carried out.

Finally, thanks also to Mike for the time and trouble he took prior to the order actually being placed – apparenly, according to Trevor, some of the designs have never been done before!

John Baggaley, Site Supervisor – Forest Park Primary School, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire

I would like to thank you for all the hard work you and your team put in to designing, planning making and installing the playground equipment at Chorlton Park Primary School.

I really appreciate all the help your firm supplied in getting the design right for the whole school and the extra time you took with various members of staff. With such a large investment it is vital we get it right and your company supported us enormously in this.

Your flexibility with installation dates allowed us to get the equipment installed this academy year which was a real bonus for our current year 6.  The children at the school have been really impressed with the equipment and it has made a positive impact on lunchtimes as well as PE.

We look forward to working with you again in the future, thanks again.

David Watson, Headteacher – Cholton Park Primary School, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester

I must write to you and express my delight in the installation of our new fencing and activity areas.

Coming back from our summer break, the children were so excited and couldn’t wait to use the netball posts, football area and cricket stumps. It has transformed our playtimes and added to the play zones we already had.

The perimeter fencing on the tarmac area is also so attractive and really blends in with our shrubbery surrounds. We have had so many comments, from children and adults, about the flower motifs on the metal fencing which adds to the look of our KS2 playground.

The job you did was exactly as we discussed, carried out efficiently, there was not one bit of mess to clear up and we are all now enjoying the fruits of your labours and our money. A bargain considering the outcome.

Thanks again, we continue to enjoy calmer and active playtimes using the equipment.”

Graham Lodge, Headteacher – Greythorn Primary School – Nottinghamshire

Why did we choose Goal Units?

We wanted to provide our students with an opportunity to participate in physical activity during break and lunch with quality equipment that would withstand daily use.  the students themselves made the decision to look at installing goal units and creating a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).  In addition the local Council and Youth Service wanted to be able to provide play equipment for use in the evenings and weekend.  After consultation with our students, the Council and the Youth Service it was decided we would look for funding to complete the project.

Why AMV?

After much research and provisional discussions with a number of companies, it became clear that AMV provided a quality product and first class service.  I was most impressed with the quality and range of designs offered and the lifetime guarantee issued on all products by AMV.

Value & Service from AMV

From the outset I was impressed with the way that AMV treated both myself as the customer and the project as a whole.  Any questions or thoughts I may have had were dealt with swiftly.  From survey to installation I was kept informed of progress regularly.  I found the team to be helpful in shaping our plans to come up with the most appropriate use of the space.  In terms of value I have found AMV to be very competitive amongst other suppliers.  In addition the build quality is something that I have not seen elsewhere.

Would I recommend AMV?

I would have no reservation in recommending AMV to any other potential customer.

Dan Watts, Director of Specialism – Queen Elizabeth School & Sports College, Atherstone

“At the beginning of this year we found ourselves in a position where we could renovate the school playground and install another two goal posts. We had no hesitation in contacting AMV Ltd who had previously supplied and installed a unit.

We found they were extremely professional in all areas relating to the supply and installation and have no hesitation in recommending them.

The children have so much pleasure playing football and in the summer cricket.

I can confidently recommend AMV Ltd as a solid and reliable supplier, and experts in their field.”

School Business Manager – Denton West End Primary School, Denton, Manchester

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for all your help and assistance over the last 12 months. Everyone has been so helpful and patient while we arranged funding and waited (and waited!) for permission to install the basketball posts. The end product has been worth the wait and is being used at every available opportunity by the students.

I cannot recommend your company highly enough. Please let me know if you would like to arrange a site visit or need a reference.

Sam Batten, Community Facilities Manager – Caterham High School – Essex

In the academic year 2006-2007 the school began a research into the installation of outdoor seating, MUGA’s staging and climbing walls. Following extensive study and presentations by a variety of suppliers the school, backed by the governing body, elected to engage and agree a contract with AMV.

This decision was based on the following criteria:-

Superior design and build quality

Competitive tendering

Excellent after sales service openness and integrity of representatives and management of the company

We have now had a three and a half year association with AMV and I would report that all of the above decision criteria were correct.

The equipment is of superior quality and construction.  I have had the opportunity to inspect similar equipment built and installed by other suppliers only to find that after two or three years the items were definitely suffering the effects of school life, unlike the products from AMV, which still look as if they were recently installed.

Our outdoor equipment is in constant use from 08.00 until 17.00 five days per week and from 10.00 until 15.00 on Saturdays.  There has been absolutely no sign of wear and tear brought about either by this level of either usage or inclement weather.

Our student voice evaluation highlights the tremendous benefits of this equipment both for PE/Dance lessons, during the break times and before and after school usage.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending AMV products for use in the school environment due to their superior design and build quality at an extremely competitive price.”

Brian Jordan, Headteacher – Bebington High Sports College, Bebington, Wirral

We are very happy with the tree seat, the seating in the playground, and also with the hand and foot-holds you installed on the wall in our playground.

The children are making full use of them

We were very pleased with the service your company provided and we will undoubtedly ask you to quote for work if/when we have money to spend in the future.

Liz Harris, Headteacher – Stretton CofE Primary School, Coventry, West Midlands

As part of our playground refurbishments we recently had some equipment installed by your company, this consisted of tennis nets, play tables, goal posts and various buddy benches.

I should like to commend the quality of the equipment and the ease with which it was installed.  The team who were responsible for the installation worked hard and were aware of how to behave on school premises and the health and safety requirements. They were happy to work around playtime etc and everything went very smoothly.

Margaret McCulloch, Headteacher – St Paul’s C of E Junior School, Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria

Thank you for the recent installation of bike hoops, traverse wall, monkey bars and trim trail. I was very pleased with the work done.

Alan Beckett, Headteacher – Bolshaw Primary School, Cheadle, Stockport

The playground markings programme began back in 2005 when the Nottinghamshire local Football Partnership identified it as a major piece of work.

Written into their development plan was a programme of works that would see 30 playground projects delivered across primary schools in Nottinghamshire over a 2 year period.

Aimed at increasing participation during lunchtime and breaktimes initially, it was soon discovered just how many other benefits could be gained from such a project.

Schools were invited to declare their interest and were then supported in making applications for funding to the Football Foundation small grants programme.

Contractors AMV and Permaplay assisted with comprehensive site visits, developing plans and quotes upon successful applications being granted, they were then invited to install the associated works.

Since 2006, the combination of multi sport units and playground markings installed in Nottinghamshire primary schools has had a fantastic impact on both teaching and learning, informal physical activity and whole school improvement.

The pupils love the units and the colourful playground environments that have been created much on the theme of zoneparcs.  In this, all 30 playgrounds have a multi sport ball zone, a medium intesity active zone and a quieter zone.

No two schemes are the same and this is testimony to the contractors who have worked with us in providing innovative designs, first clas service and installation of the highest standard.

Chris Ballard, Partnership Development Manager – Rushcliffe School Sport Partnership, Nottinghamshire
